![]() I look at my older stuff now and cringe, haha. Pretty much everything was a big trial and error, and pushing myself to get better. Since I’ve graduated, I’ve sort of blended the two together. Since college, I’ve always had 2 separate art styles realism and anime-ish. Then high school hit and I had a few art classes, but once I hit college I learned the key lessons like shading, perspective - all the fun stuff. I’d pause anime and try to redraw the scene, etc. ![]() Up until high school, I was all self taught. My first grade teacher also pulled me aside one day after classes and mentioned how she liked one of my drawings so much she wanted to keep it. I remember that my grandmother bought me a ‘How to draw Winnie-the-Pooh’ book, and I was hooked.
